What is the name of this kind of kick scooter (details inside)?

It has three wheels. It does not have one running board, but two: one running board on each side. The rider stands between the running boards when they are pushing the scooter, and when they get up some speed, they place the right foot on the right running board and the left foot on the left running board.

Are Trikes Easier / Safer To Ride?

Hi

I was browsing some forums today researching bikes and found out in my state (California) ANYONE with a "Class C" (passenger car) drivers license can operate a street legal three wheeler. Whether it be big, small, a scooter, or a custom job, if it looks like a motorcycle, is made from a motorcycle, but has three wheels, anyone is good to go to ride legally, anytime. The vehicle is registered as a motorcycle and insured as one and all laws apply as one, but legally it can be operated on road as a car. So that is pretty cool.

I understand this is NOT the same as riding a motorcycle. Its less involving, but if a person simply wants the wind in their hair, the feeling of speed, and the sense of freedom a truly open air riding experience affords you, are they fun,and do you feel more safe and stable on a trike then a motorcycle?

Also, what do some of you think of companies such as Ice Bear and Roketa which sell inexpensive "kit" trikes and scooter trikes? Reviews are good, and they are very inexpensive.

Thanks for any replies :)

need help with algebra equation?

I have a math problem that I do not know how to write the equation for. The question is: A scooter designer uses the same body to make scooters with three wheels and scooters with four wheels. He has enough bodies to make 50 scooters. He has 160 wheels. How many three-wheel scooters and four-wheel scooters can he make? he must use all the bodies and all the wheels.

How can I go about building or getting built a three wheeled kick type scooter?

I want to build a lightweight scooter that I can hold things on(sort of like a dog sled) but with three wheels and light enough to be pulled by a dog? Is there a place where I can send detailed plans and have it built or how would I go about doing something like this myself?

Need help remember name of this Triangle Camera Tripod thing…?

I remember from awhile back seeing this product that is for super high end video shoots. You mount your film camera on a gyro type tripod head that was attached to a low profile "scooter" type triangle looking thing. It has three wheels on each corner of the triangle that it sits on. You then adjust the wheel to specific degrees to rotate around a specific point. You can then just push the camera back and forth and it stays around the point.

this is such a lame description of this product haha.
Im sorry but i was about 17 when i saw this thing, im 21 now. ha

thanks for you help!
