I’d previously seen this scooter rider hacking their through traffic at a rate of knots. Watch here as he scoots off into the distance and filters across to the right, briefly giving me a choice to either wait behind them or go around (one wheel is narrower than two after all) and slot in though the gap to the ASL. While I’m in the ASL however, it amused me to see this rider scooting off into the distance instead of making the right turn that the lane we were in lead to. A case of too much exuberance and not enough navigation?
