How do i make an electric weed wacker into a go kart or electric scooter?
i founds a broken electric weed wacker at my grammas house and i want some instructions to do this
1)would the motor even be powerful enough to do this
2)what would i power it with
3)preferrably made of wood
4)everything else is broken but the motor works fine

haha.. cool idea but it probably wouldn’t have the power needed. a bigger eletric motor could do the trick though… it’s gonna be a lot of homework in finding the right torque motor and large enough battery capacity. good luck
I’m sorry to burst your bubble but you probably won’t be able to use an electric weedwacker motor for a go-kart or scooter simply because a weewacker’s motor is made for spinning at a high speed and doesn’t have a lotta power.
A weed wacker uses a 120 Volt AC motor. Batteries make DC electricity, usually 12 Volts. So you will need a power inverter. You would probably be better off getting a DC motor someplace.
